Serious Eye Conditions

There is hope for those suffering from serious eye conditions. Three Moons Acupuncture leads the way in treating eye disorders. Our acupuncturist is one of an elite few who has been trained to treat eye conditions in the United States using holistic medicine. Conditions that we can assist with include retinosa pigmentosa, night blindness, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, cataracts and more.

Our Approach

At Three Moons Acupuncture, we approach your eye problems the same way we do all health issues…holistically. In order to treat eye conditions properly, we utilize acupuncture, electroacupuncture, Chinese herbal supplementation and nutrition. In many cases, we will also prescribe eye exercises, massage and acupressure.

Usually, eye problems stem from an underlying systemic problem, meaning that there are other problems in the body that are actually causing issues with the eyes. It is our goal to identify the underlying cause and treat everything altogether.

Some of the possible benefits of our vision program include increased visual sensitivity and better eye health, as well as overall health improvements such as better sleep, less stress, decreased pain and increased blood circulation.

We can slow down the degenerative process and “wake up” the sleeping cells. We are able to awaken the sleeping cells by stimulating hormones, improving blood flow and nutrients to your eyes, decreasing inflammation and generating new tissue, which can improve your vision.

Needles are NEVER placed in the eyes!!!
